- Is the application accessible to non-experts?
- Is there a clear and concise presentation of how the monograph contributes to the field of research?
Funding instrument
- Does the project adequately meet the purpose of this funding instrument: is the monograph fellowship a necessary prerequisite to being able to produce the monograph?
Research contribution
Originality and advancement
- Does the monograph present an original contribution to the research field?
- Does the monograph present a potential advancement to the field, and does it provide novel insights?
Quality of approach
- Is the approach of high quality?
- Is the approach clearly argued?
- Is the approach clearly positioned in the international field?
- Is the methodology relevant?
Feasibility
- Is the project plan realistic?
- Are there significant risk factors that may prevent project execution?
Qualifications of the applicant
- Has the applicant obtained excellent results compared to career level?
- Has the applicant demonstrated the ability to make original and significant research contributions to their field?
