Macrophages and dendritic cells in infection and inflammation: Molecular mechanisms and roles in pathology

We received funding for the meeting "The 34th conference of the European Macrophage and Dendritic cell Society EMDS entitled Macrophages and dendritic cells in infection and inflammation" to be held in Aarhus on June 18-20, 2020. The meeting will bring together researchers, clinicians, and innovators working with cellular and molecular mechanisms in the cell types macrophages an dendritic cells. These cell types are particularly important for host defense against infections and for inflammatory diseases. Therefore, one key focus of the meeting is to get updated on the latest knowledge in this area, and to set future directions for the research field. This will accelerate development of new treatments and stimulate innovation.
