From Internationalization of Research and Development to Global Innovation

The workshop brings together a small group of researchers with an interest in and empirical research experience about innovation processes in contemporary MNCs. The theme is how changes in the external and internal contexts of MNCs are affecting both how MNCs organize and manage their innovation processes and the nature of their role in global innovation processes and networks. Building on past research on the organization and management of technology development and product innovation in MNCs, its focus will be on what is changing. The objective is to produce an edited volume of papers to assess and advance the research agenda in the study of IB, global innovation, and MNC organization more generally.
