Summary
The aim of the project is to introduce in BRIC’s core facility the cutting-edge infrastructure equipment that will enable to study fundamental biological processes underlying tissue/organ development, integrity and function. With the new equipment, we will automate a custom-made technology for identification of gene expression in multitude of single cells that was developed at BRIC. Using automated custom-made technology for single cell analysis, we will be able to combine high-resolution and high-throughput to study gene expression for any organism, from yeast to mammals, and the technology could be applied by a number of groups in Denmark to understand cellular composition of organisms and the potential function of each cell.
