Summary

Organisms are composed of functionally specialized cells. The molecular and functional differences between these cells, and how these cells work alone or together in unique combination, determines how an organism survives. This project will create a novel infrastructure for isolating and investigating the contents of individual cells or individual cell types. Ultimately, we hope that use of the infrastructure can provide unprecedented insights into the composition and heterogeneity of cells and cell-states in complex tissues.
