Summary

The Danish Society for Economic and Social History (DFøSH) exists to act as a forum for economic, social and business historians in Denmark, to promote research within economic, social and business history and to participate in international collaborations. The conference will provide a forum for the presentation of relevant papers. Since 2015, DFøSH has held meetings every year, but never previously in Aarhus. This application is to cover the expenses of inviting the keynote speaker, Professor Douglas Gollin, a leading authority on development and growth, with a particular focus on agriculture, which will also be the theme of this interdisciplinary meeting.
