Summary

Money plays an important role in modern democratic politics. Organized interests spend billions each year to fund lobbying campaigns aimed at shaping the decisions made by elected politicians. This potentially biases public policy towards wealthy actors who are able to channel money into the political system. This series of mini conferences will bring young internationally renowned researchers of money in politics to the Copenhagen Business School. Our aim is to bridge a fragmented research community, generate new collaborations -- particularly for early career researchers -- and ultimately generate new knowledge about the role of money in democratic politics.
