Summary

With the granted amount we are going to purchase an automated microwave peptide synthesizer for the synthesis of modified peptides at the Department of Physics, Chemistry and Pharmacy, SDU. This core facility will not only enable the groups to advance their understanding in fundamental peptide protein research, but also provide a full opportunity to explore their potential biological and therapeutical applications, contributing to innovation in Denmark. In parallel to the scientific research, the peptide synthesizer will also serve as an open resource to local scientists to obtain model peptides for educational purposes.
