"The Conference “Need to Know: Defence Intelligence in the Cold War and Beyond” is the 11th Conference in the Need to Know-series. These international conferences are the meeting ground for intelligence researchers who deals with the 20th and 21st century. Understanding intelligence better, and establishing a European research infrastructure on the area are key ambitions of the organizers from Denmark, Poland, Estonia, Norway, Britain, and Austria. In 2022, the Need to Know conferences return to Denmark after 10 years. The scientific event brings leading international experts on security and intelligence to the unique historical site Langelandsfort."
