Summary
The role of data in modern science is increasing year after year and the European Spallation Source is a next-generation neutron scattering facility under construction in Lund, Sweden, with the Data Management and Software Centre based in Copenhagen. This summer school will look to train students in the importance of data in neutron scattering experiments, highlighting good data management practices as well as introducing cutting-edge data analysis approaches. This summer school will ensure that the next generation of neutron scattering scientists is ready to take full advantage of the European Spallation Source when it is online.
