Summary
The human genome is a biological instruction manual for each cell. Errors in the instruction code or in how these instructions are read, cause many health disorders. We study how protein machines copy and read our genome, to advance our knowledge of human health and disease. This grant will allow us to buy a state-of-the-art instrument to isolate the protein machines required for our studies.
