Summary
Major corruption scandals often involve both politicians and multinational enterprises, but little is known about why the public punishes only some corrupt companies and whether the features of corrupt companies play a role in penalising the crooked politicians. Our project answers these two questions by focusing on perceptual biases among the public as determinants of differential punishment.
