Summary
The workshop will shed light on problem areas within the study of titles of officials who lived during the New Kingdom (C. 1550-1070 BCE) in ancient Egypt. Questions about the categorisation and institutional affiliation of titles will be addressed, as well as how different researchers within Egyptology handle the rich and varied data, which often have been performed with a modern Western bias.
