Summary

The Himalayan Upper Mustang region of Nepal is an un-studied, “white spot” on the map in terms of freshwater ecosystems and biodiversity. This project studies aquatic habitats across altitudes and human impact. Our aims are to find out which aquatic species live in the region, in what type of environments, and what are the effects of human activities on aquatic biodiversity and water quality.
