Summary
Completed in 1998, the Great Belt Bridge was ascribed with the power to unify the country and save its declining economy. Yet, the bridge came about at massive costs – economically, environmentally, and humanly. Since today, we also place great faith in massive building projects as pathways to a better and more sustainable future, this book asks: What can we learn from the Great Belt Bridge?
