Summary

Where almost all other European countries established strong constitutional courts with intense review powers to protect human rights and keep a check on parliaments after the holocaust, this didn’t happen in the Nordic countries. Through field trips to archives in the Nordic capitals and interviews with historians, politicians and lawyers, this project will gather new data and try to explain why.
