Summary
How do migrants’ past dealings with states shape later encounters with states across borders? This workshop brings scholars together to explore how experiences of power, bureaucracy, and justice travel with migrants, reshaping political subjectivities and structuring experiences with and understandings of other states. The outcome will be new conceptual tools and a collaborative special issue.
