The project aims to determine the behaviour of bowhead whales during the Arctic winter using animal-borne multi-sensor tags, drone photogrammetry, and biological sampling. The results will provide new insights into whale song function, mating strategies, energy use, and foraging ecology of Arctic marine mammals.
