The excavations in search for remains of the Palace of Maussollos inside the great Crusader Castle in Bodrum yilded large amounts of pottery sherds. These cover the period from the late Bronze Age up to modern times. The publication of this material will present the first unbroken series of pottery representing 3000 years of ceramic development in this part of Western Asia Minor and give an indication of the commercial and cultural context of the site during this period.
