Resumé
The European Microscopy Congress (EMC) has been a world leading forum for knowledge sharing within this microscopy. It is held every 4 years under the auspices of the European Microscopy Society (EMS), and the International Federation of Societies for Microscopy (IFSM). In 2020 the host will be Copenhagen. The aim of EMC2020 is to establish activities that will attract the best scientists of the world to this conference. Young talented researchers as well as their more experienced colleagues will attend. The conference will be a platform to establish several new research collaborations. The EMC2020 will contribute to emphasize the Danish Microscopy society in general - and DTU in particular - as a world-leading environment for research and technological development and innovation.
