Resumé

The Danish Innovation Index (DII) is launched by Aarhus University, Department of Management, based on collaboration with international partners. The DII measures consumers' perception of companies across industries in the Danish market. It takes the perspective of consumers, as they are the actual recipients of innovations and, with their buying behavior in the market, can determine whether a company will succeed in its innovation efforts. The aim of DII is to build a database containing consumers' perspectives on companies' performance on innovation relevant indicators over a 5-year period. It is possible to track consumer perspectives on different companies in the Danish market over time as well as compare across industries and countries.
