Going Green Globally? Moral Economies of Vegetarianism

The Carlsberg Foundation previously awarded me a research infrastructure grant in 2019 and a monograph fellowship in 2021. The two months of fieldwork in the US and India will enable me to fill any gaps in existing materials and will provide fresh empirical data that will allow for the incorporation of supplementary perspectives in my monograph. Through its empirical examination of the intersections among regulation, production, trade, and consumption, my study advances understanding of the potential role of vegetarianism in fostering sustainability.
