Embedding OMT's conference program in the local context during AoM 2025 in Copenhagen

In 2025, the Academy of Management conference will be hosted in Copenhagen. This location is remarkable since the world's largest conference for management scholars and executives has never before been hosted outside of North America. We use the occasion to explore how the Organization and Management Theory (OMT) Division of AoM can embed its conference program in Danish society during AoM 2025. Our mini-conference explores multiple modes of communication, including the arts, to engage different senses and thereby enhance the broader appeal and societal impact of research. Our multimodal orientation resonates with Carlsbergfondet in as much as Carlsberg’s historical legacy interweaves engagement in research, corporations, art, and culture.
