Resumé

This symposium will investigate the kinds of privacy that people attribute to the dead across historical and geographical contexts. Creating a scholarly conversation with multiple fields - such as history, archaeology, biomolecular science, museology, literature, and journalism -, we will discuss the cultural, ethical, and practical dimensions of privacy and death from ancient Egypt to today.
