Resumé
Denmark and Europe are ageing. This comes with an increased risk of diseases and impaired functional capacity and increases the pressure on the health and social care system. The aim of SHARE is to understand the implications of population ageing for individuals and society, by providing data to permit relevant (interdisciplinary) research with implications for European and national policies.
