Finding better policies to help children with special needs thrive in the school and beyond

The aim of this project is to investigate how placement in special education and alternative educational settings affects children with special needs in both the short and long term. We expect to establish credible causal evidence on the short and long run effects of special education in Denmark, by relying on national register data and modern causal methods.
