Resumé
This project will explore how exercise benefits our health. We will use a muscle contraction tool to simulate exercise pathways in muscle cells with control and precision. This will uncover new pathways that regulate muscle mass, insulin sensitivity, and mitochondrial function, leading to optimized therapies for age-related diseases, diabetes, and cancer, while reducing reliance on animal models.
