Cutting-edge multibeam sonar system for marine research

Project aimed to purchase a portable multibeam sonar for scanning of the seafloor and water column, used for investigating geological processes, natural and man-made gas seepage, water mass properties, and submerged archaeology. The instrument will enable us to study processes in very high resolution, which in turn allow us to address subtle but important changes in the marine geo- and biosystems.
