Resumé
The Rotating X-ray Computed Tomography (RXCT) scanner provides high-resolution imaging of geological cores, informing on sedimentary structures, sediment type and content and porosity. The RXCT system will advance GEUS’ research on Arctic climate changes, by providing reconstructions of glacial dynamics, and will also contribute to studies on CO₂ storage and geothermal potential.
