Small particles, large effects: Sizing airborne aerosol particles

Aerosols are small particles in the air. They are present indoors as well as outdoors. The size of aerosol particles spans many orders of magnitude and has implications for air quality and global climate. Yet, measuring size of aerosol particles is challenging. This project acquires a new instrument for sizing particles across a uniquely wide range from few nanometers to several micrometers.
