Resumé

This project examines how Japanese “no waste” philosophies know from kaizen, lean production and management continue to shape contemporary circular-economy practices and sustainable entrepreneurship. Through qualitative fieldwork and case studies it explores how the traditional values of efficiency, discipline, and responsible resource use are reinterpreted in modern contexts in contemporary Japan
